Today's China has a criss-crossing road network, shipping routes radiating around the world, and water transportation extending from rivers to seas. The increasingly developed transportation network has opened up the "major artery" of the economy, smoothed the "microcirculation" of supply and demand, and paved a way for economic development to take off. The opportunities brought by the "new infrastructure" policy have accelerated the digitalization process of the transportation industry.

Weave a dense transportation network and accelerate the construction of a strong transportation country

In line with the development trend of the digital economy, the China Transport Communications and Information Center (CTTIC) has built a transportation information industry center in Baoshan, Shanghai, to support the "new infrastructure", build the "Jiaoxin Cloud", and deploy "big data". With smart transportation and intelligent shipping as the core, it will create a leading high-quality data operation industry base in the Yangtze River Delta.

According to the "2022 Data Center Survey Report" released by the global authoritative organization Uptime Institute, data center operation interruptions caused by power supply system failures account for as high as 44%.

Therefore, a power supply system with high reliability and simple operation and maintenance is needed to ensure the continuity of business operations.

Working with Huawei to build a solid digital foundation

The traditional power supply system is a decentralized supply and on-site integration model with numerous and complex equipment, low power supply efficiency and major safety risks.

After thorough preliminary research and comprehensive consideration, the Transportation Information Industry Center finally chose Huawei's end-to-end power supply and distribution solution, including power modules, intelligent lithium batteries and DCIM management systems, to achieve rapid deployment, safe operation and efficient operation and maintenance.

Wang Jiaxin, project manager of the Transportation Information Industry Center, said, "Huawei's power module integrates multiple components, and saves a lot of space through architecture integration and ultra-high-density modular UPS applications. The entire data center has added 750 square meters of white space, which can deploy 350 more cabinets.

The use of prefabricated busbars instead of on-site pressed cables saved 16,000 meters of cables and accelerated delivery. The deployment time of a power module room on site was shortened from 60 days to 13 days. "

In addition, based on AI algorithms, to ensure stable system operation, Huawei's power modules and smart lithium batteries are both modular plug-in designs. After predicting risks, maintenance can be completed in 5 minutes by replacing the module. Through the intelligent features of iPower, full-chain visual management, and full-chain coverage of 150+ temperature measurement points, temperature prediction for all working conditions is achieved; life prediction of key components and online switch setting ensure the reliability of the power supply system to the greatest extent, greatly simplifying operation and maintenance work.

When roads are open, all industries flourish. Transportation is the key to a prosperous country and the foundation of a strong country. In the future, the Transportation Information Industry Center will create a new transportation development model based on "information + Beidou + Xinchuang", create a transportation industry ecosystem that shares resources, creates value, and has interests, promote the economic development of Baoshan District, and help upgrade the smart transportation industry.
